On-site and Near-site clinics are quickly becoming the proactive solution for organizations seeking to control health care costs. An On-Site clinic is an area physically located in your company which is designated as a medical clinic.  The provider then operates out of that site caring for employees for acute care situations.  This can reduce time off for the employee and time lost for the employer.  Our Corporate Wellness team offers the full range of convenient services at your location which could include a physician, a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP), and registered nurses.

Near-site health services are a great way for a group of companies looking to control health care costs to share the cost of a clinic by partnering with a group of companies.  The clinic would be located near your location and close to the locations of the others in the group.   This model allows for a widened patient base which could potentially include employee’s spouses and dependents.  In this case, the clinic is generally used as a primary care service for the participants.  Corporate Wellness’ Local Government Employee Health Clinic (LGEHC) is an example of a Near-site Clinic.  This clinic is run as a resource for the Madison County Commission and Huntsville Utilities.  Employees, spouses and dependents, as well as retirees, on their employer’s respective health plans, are eligible to utilize the clinic.  Our Corporate Wellness team offers the full range of convenient services at that shared location, including a physician, a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP), and registered nurses.

Our newest near-site clinic is the Employee Health Clinic at Research Park (EHCRP). The practice is located at 7047 Old Madison Pike, Suite 330 and is led by Dr. David Huff, a Huntsville native with over 35 years experience in primary care. The clinic is not a walk-in clinic. It is for the use of employees, dependents (ages 12 and up) and retirees of participating employers. Employers pay a flat, monthly fee per participating employee. That fee allows that employee and all of their dependents (ages 12 and up) an unlimited number of visits. There is no  co-pay and insurance is not billed for any services the clinic provides. The fee also includes a large number of vaccines and lab work. It is an excellent and affordable benefit you can offer to your workforce, while also helping control your health care dollars.
