Freddy G. McMurry, MD, MPH, MBA, Associate Medical Director
Freddy received his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 1985. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga. He earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Alabama in 1996. He completed his Occupational Medicine residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1998 during which time he completed a Master’s Degree in Public Health. Dr. McMurry is Board Certified in Occupational Medicine and Family Practice. His special interests include occupational skin and lung disorders. He is certified by the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners and is a certified Medical Review Officer.
Joseph L. Rea, MD, MPH
Joseph earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at Indiana University. After an internship at Tulane University, he undertook specialty in training in occupational medicine, toxicology and public health at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He worked as the Medical Director of Texas Eastman Company and later as Medical Director at Kodak Park, an industrial complex with approximately 20,000 employees, before joining OHG. Dr. Rea’s professional experience and interest center around chemical exposures, medical surveillance and toxicology. Dr. Rea is Board Certified in Occupational Medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners, a certified Medical Review Officer and an FAA appointed aviation medical examiner.
Rupa Shiva, MD
Rupagraduated from the Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) in 1994. She completed her internship at the KIMS Hospital and Research Centre in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Dr. Shiva is Board certified in Family Medicine. She is also a certified Medical Review Officer and a certified NRCME Examiner. Dr. Shiva joined OHG in October 2014.
